Currently a one man show plus my faithful dogs. I live in Wawa, Ontario, Canada, and the incense ingredients are either harvested locally or sometimes in Quebec, all in an entirely sustainable way. For example, I only use birch bark that is being shed by live trees or is from trees that are dead.

The origin of the product is two-fold: 1. I'm an avid hiker, mostly of old forestry roads, of which there are thousands of kilometers in northern Ontario and the vast majority are open to the public ("Crown land" - see here for road location information). The incense is a way to share that experience; and 2. Incense holds a special appeal to me as a Christian. It is mentioned often in Old Testament Scripture, and Jesus Christ was gifted two tree resin incenses at his birth, frankincense and myrrh. I wanted to merge the biblical concept with the Boreal Forest.
